In our latest project at Park View Lane, Manea, we are installing an MCS Certified solar heat pump system supplied by our partners Thermal Reflections.
We have estimated the annual savings over a traditional oil based system and are running a free to enter competition. If you can guess the savings (to the £1) we will give you a cash prize equal to the amount of savings that you would benefit from using the installed solar system as opposed to if we supplied an oil based system to the same property instead.
The property is “over-insulated” compared to current standards and also has been built to acheive the maximum airtightness so that less heat is lost than in a traditional home. Therefore the actual savings the average home owner receives would be more in our house but for the competition it is on a like for like basis.
The system will also be installed to and registered for the Renewable Heat Incentice which means that the owner will receive a tax-free lump sum every year which is not included in the savings for the competition.
Open to all residents of March and Manea (and surrounding villages) – you must provide a postal address, one entry per household only please. But it is TOTALLY FREE to enter. If more than one entry is correct the amount will be split between all correct entries.
