BEWARE – you are only eligible for the FiT or RHI if:
1. The renewable energy technology is registered as a MCS approved technology
AND
2. The installation has been done by an MCS registered installer
This is very important, and there are numerous company’s out there offering grants and loans etc in return for you buying their system which isn’t MCS registered and their installers aren’t MCS registered either. In this case you wont be able to apply for FiT or RHI payments.
The MCS webiste has a database of registered products and installers. ALWAYS check this before proceeding with your project.
